Miller & Caine's immigration practice provides legal advice with respect to all aspects of the employment of foreign nationals in the United States. Our clients range from multi-national companies to closely-held and start-up businesses and non-profit organizations. We counsel our clients on immigration strategy for current and prospective employees, including professional workers, intra-company transferee managers, executives and specialized knowledge personnel, foreign medical graduates and covered health professionals, as well as recent college graduates. We assist our clients with securing numerous types of temporary nonimmigrant work status and visas, and we are experienced in all phases of the PERM Labor Certification process for obtaining legal permanent residence status for foreign-born workers. Our attorneys also assist our clients with family-based immigration matters such as obtaining temporary visas, work authorizations and permanent residence status. We continually monitor recent changes in the law in order to effectively advise our clients in this emerging and constantly transforming area of the law.
The firm will provide an initial consultation to analyze a specific immigration case and to review relevant documentation, as well as to advise of possible immigration options, estimated time frames and costs. The $250 cost of this initial consultation will be credited to a client's first invoice if the firm is thereafter engaged for representation.
